The Power of Line and Colour
The Lawrence House Centre for the Arts presents “The Power of Line and Colour” a juried exhibition of 2D fine art.
Artists must live or work in Lambton County. Online entries are now open, and close on Friday September 23rd 2022
Entrants will be notified by Wednesday September 28th if their art has been accepted. Intake will be Saturday October 1 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
The exhibition will open First Friday October 7, 2022 and be open through October 29, 2022.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY
The entry form for the show is to be completed online. Contact us if this is not possible at 517-337-0507.
You may enter 1 piece of 2D Art. Media can be oil, watercolour, pastel, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, encaustic, or mixed media, .
The size of artwork submitted must include the dimensions with the frame. The minimum size is 8”x 10”. The maximum size is 36”x 48” because our wall space is limited. All work must be original. No copies from other artists or from published material including stock photography, no supervised work, no reproductions or prints will be allowed
All work must have been completed in the past 2 years and not shown in Lambton County before.
All art works must be for sale. A sales commission of 25% is retained by The Lawrence House Centre for the Arts.
All works must be ready to hang and properly wired with picture wire (no string or braided hangers). If the entry comes in without proper wiring it will not be accepted.
The entry fee is $20.00 for Members of the Lawrence House and $35.00 for non-members including HST. Fees are non refundable.
First Place Prize $1,000.00
